A joy! A pleasure to read and even more exciting to contemplate!
My son hates to read. He will watch the clock to see when his 30 minutes of required reading is up. What surprised me was he lost track of time with this book. Later, I asked him how he was enjoying the book. He said the story really brought him into an adventure that he couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. Curiousity had the better of me so I had to read it as well. It was a very well written story that left us both wanting to read so much more. We both hope that Andrew Connan decides to continue this adventure. We are impatiently wanting more.
I won this book in a giveaway. I like this book, but I think it would have more possibilities as an adult series with all the drama between scenters. I think we should be following Uncle Tito's story, but that's my opinion. There is no indication that this book is a series, and the book leaves you wondering about training and Uncle Tito. I will have my son read this book, so we can discuss. It is a good story just seems incomplete, and I think this is because it is a book for a middle schooler which limited where the story could go. Again remember this is my opinion, and if there is another book, I would definitely read it to see where it goes and if my questions are answered.
