This biography answered a lot of questions for me. I wish more dates were stated. We are very fortunate to have had Harry S. Truman as our president at the strategic time that we did.
Not particularly well written. It is simple enough for my children to read. very little depth. It's good if you would like a quick handy guide to Harry Truman. For something in depth look elsewhere.
I voted against Truman in 1948 - and regretted it ever since. This book accurately describes the eight Truman years. I recommend it highly.
I am certainly not a history scholar and found that the info in the book filled some gaps in my understanding of the history of the times. It was an easy, understandable read.
It was indeed a very informative book about the life of President Harry Truman. He was a man who put family and country before himself. He was indeed a great man who is the epitome of the American dream. Great book!
This one great story about an amazing man how played great part in the America's history. The book gives an insight of his life and success and fall. This book is definitely something that everybody should read and i strongly recommend it!
I've always enjoyed history, but there'd been several "Why's" that never seemed to get answered. This book did that for me. So glad I read it. Not technical and bogged down by unnecessary details
